What is memory foam slipper?
Memory foam was developed in 1966 under a contract by NASA's Ames Research Center to improve the safety of aircraft cushions. Memory foam was initially referred to as "slow spring back foam". Created by feeding gas into a polymer matrix, the foam has an open-cell solid structure that matches pressure against it, yet slowly springs back to its original shape.
Firstly, it was commonly used in cases where the patient was required to lie immobile in their bed on a firm mattress for an unhealthy period of time. The pressure on some of their body regions impaired the blood flow to the region, causing pressure sores or gangrene. Memory foam mattresses significantly decreased such events. Claims have also been made that memory foam reduces the severity of pain associated with fibromyalgia.
The new second and third generation memory foams have an open-cell structure that reacts to body heat and weight by 'molding' to the user's body, helping relieve pressure points, preventing pressure sores, etc. Also, memory foam mattresses retain body heat, so can be warm in cold weather.
Cotton&Knitted&wool&Polyester
Cotton fabric is one of the world's oldest known fabrics, dating back to ancient Egypt and prehistoric Mexico. It is known for its softness, shrinkage, versatility and lightness. Cotton fabric allows air to flow through freely. The fabric absorbs sweat and releases it on its surface. This is often described as the fabric "breathing," and is considered an asset in clothing, particularly in warm climates.
Knitted garments are often more form-fitting than woven garments, since their elasticity allows them to contour to the body's outline more closely. Thread used in weaving is usually much finer than the yarn used in knitting, which can give the knitted fabric more bulk and less drape than a woven fabric.
Wool has several qualities that distinguish it from hair/fur: it is crimped and elastic. Because of the crimp, wool fabrics have greater bulk than other textiles, and they hold air, which causes the fabric to retain heat. Wool fibers readily absorb moisture, but are not hollow. Wool can absorb almost one-third of its own weight in water. So wool slippers have a good ability to absorb sweat.
Polyester is a generalised term for any fabric or textile, which is made using polyester yarns or fibres. It is a shortened name for a synthetic, man-made polymer, which, as a specific material, is most commonly referred to as a type called polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It is made by mixing ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. That all sounds extremely scientific, but basically, polyester is a kind of plastic.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR HOMETOPS?
We recommend sprinkling the inside with baking soda when they get a bit dirty. It will absorb and freshen it a bit and you can dump out any leftover that does not absorb. As for the outside, we recommend using a soft bristled brush to wipe away any dirt or spots but do keep your Birdies away from water.
CAN I WEAR HomeTop OUTSIDE?
With a waterproof, anti-slip rubber outsole, you will have safe, secure footing on any indoor and outdoor surface. You can walk anywhere from bedroom to briefly outside the house; perfect for fetching the mail or watering the lawn.
ARE HomeTops VEGAN?
Our slippers are all made from environmentally friendly materials and free from fur of animals. Please feel free to wear it.

Your shipping confirmation will be received only when your items are fulfilled. Please fill in your both account email and order number in order to monitor order status.
Please contact us within 2 months of shipment if the package does not arrive in time. Note that overdue requests may not be accepted.
- Tips for shipping
1) A telephone number is required for delivery. Leave the correct email address in your order so that order confirmation and shipping confirmation will be sent.
2) APO/FPO & PO Boxes are not accepted. We will refund you the shipping fee if you pay additional fee with a PO box address.
3) Your address should be detailed enough, even include apartment or unit number. Extra shipping fee due to personal reasons will not be taken by HOMETOP
